Daniel Suson, Ph.D. Appointed as Dean of the School of Engineering, Mathematics and Science

Dr. Daniel Suson, former head of the Department of Physics and Geosciences at Texas A&M, Kingsville, joined Purdue University Calumet on August 1, 2007.

Suson's academic career began as an assistant professor and continued as full professor of physics and astronomy at Texas A&M, Kingsville.  At the same time, he was very active in a number of research projects, many of which involved student participation. 

For over ten years he served as an ASEE Summer Faculty Fellow at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington DC.  He is well published and has been recognized as Distinguished Teacher, Outstanding Instructor and Outstanding Researcher among many accomplishments.  His service record is exemplary and extensive.
