Early Registration Procedures
- Check the Schedule of Classes brochure or the University's web page to find out when early registration begins. The Schedule booklet is usually available 1-2 weeks prior to early registration. The Schedule booklet can be found at:

Information Center (Student/Faculty Library Building)
Posted on bulletin boards throughout the campus
On the PUC Home Page
- Check the Bingo Sheet for your degree's course work.
- Look on the computers for the courses' days/times.
- Check for prerequistes in the college catalog or online using course descriptions for the classes you choose.
- If you do not need to speak with an advisor then:
- Select days/times
- Check the computer to make sure the courses are still available
- Web register
- If you need help, schedule an advising appointment.
- Be prepared for your advising appointment.
- Have a course request card filled out with your name, ID#, and signature.
- Write down any questions you have so that you will not forget to ask them.
- Bring any pertinent information with you.
- Do not forget to bring a pen.
- Be on time.
- Tardiness causes the following appointments to be disrupted.
- Your advisor may not be able to see you.
- If you cannot make your appointment, call and reschedule it.
- When arriving at the Center for Student Achievement office:
- Announce yourself to the secretary.
- Make sure someone knows you are there.
- Advisors have rules they must follow, and they cannot:
- Make any changes to the times of the classes.
- Waive a prerequisite or a requirement without academic department approval.
- Once your advisor has approved and signed your course request card:
- Take the card to the Registration Office. (Laws -130)
- Pick up your schedule.
- You are not registered until all fees and tuition are paid.
- Make sure you pay by the deadline.
- Nonpayment will cancel your classes.
- You will not be allowed to register again until Open Registration.
