New Cooperative Agreement between PUC Biological Sciences and Chinese Culture University – Taiwan

Professor W. T. Evert Ting of the Department of Biological Sciences was among 20 Purdue faculty members who participated in the Faculty Research Abroad Program in Taiwan between May 21 and 28, 2007.

While there reporting on her research and forging new collaborative relationships, Dr. Ting completed negotiations on the Purdue University Calumet – Chinese Culture University articulation agreement that will bring qualified Taiwanese students to PUC for a Purdue degree in Biological Sciences. She is pictured with Dr. Mu-Chin Fu, Professor and Head of the Department of Life Science at Chinese Culture University. PUC Department Head, Dr. Mike Henson, reports that the Biological Sciences faculty looks forward to a successful working relationship with Chinese Culture University in bringing outstanding students from Taiwan to northwest Indiana.
