New online job search interface "CareerTrax" now available
 CareerTrax, formerly known as PC Slots, is the new online job search interface
brought to you by Career Services of Purdue University Calumet. All Purdue
student and alumni users are
able to utilize their existing username and password information to login to the new
system.
Community members are able to browse the job listings by utilizing the username
"calumet" and the password "purdue" in the new system.
Community members previously using an assigned username and password will need
to use the above listed username and password to access the new system.
Purdue students and alumni are encouraged to register with our office to access
additional features of the system which include special listings for
internships, student employment on campus, and to participate in on campus
interview schedules.
Current profile
information in the personal and demographic information fields as of June 16
were transferred to the new system for all users. Existing documents that users uploaded personally into the old
PC Slots system, such as resumes and coverletters, were not transferred due
document type incompatibility.
Just as with the old system, the new system requires that students have
resumes created in Microsoft Word format. Students are encouraged to update
resumes in Word format for upload into the new system at this time.
The staff of Career Services appreciates the patience of all users as we make
this system change to offer better quality online job search services.
