About Cooperative Education
Cooperative Education is a Professional Work Experience Program that alternates full-time semesters of work with full-time semesters of classes. Typically, cooperative education students are exposed to a variety of professional level challenges within a particular company. This provides an in depth experience for the student.
Cooperative Education Requirements
- Completion of freshman year requirements
- Minimum grade point average of 2.7/4.0
- Participation in orientation and professional development workshops
- Majoring in one of the areas listed below

- Biological Sciences
- Chemistry & Physics
- Engineering including Computer, Electrical and Mechanical
- Mathematical Sciences
School of Technology
- Construction Technology
- Electrical Engineering Technology

- Manufacturing Engineering Technologies including Industrial, Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technologies and Supervision
