About Internships
Internships provide full-time or part-time temporary positions in your major field of study. An internship is any type of work experience that does not fall into the requirements of the Cooperative Education Program. The bulk of these opportunities are part-time continuous or temporary work or full-time summer work.

Internship requirements
- be enrolled as a Purdue University Calumet student in an academic program
- have completed at least the first semester requirements in your major
- have good academic standing
- participate in Professional Development Workshops such as resume writing, interviewing and networking
