Why choose a certificate in Equine Management
The Equine Management Program provides students with the skills necessary to be good horse managers as well as good horse people.
Equine subjects cover the business aspect of the horse industry - equine business management, horse management software, global perspectives, legal and ethical issues, taxation, and several industry specific courses. For students in the degree program, the equine subjects are taken in tandem with the traditional business curriculum.
General Admissions Information
Students applying to a certificate program must show - A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required. Additional criteria, work experience, math skills, etc. will be discussed during your advisement appointment.
Note: Certificate students who later wish to pursue degrees must apply for degree-seeking admission and are subject to admissions and degree requirements in effect when they are accepted.
