Biography

Dave is currently teaching Com 115, Fundamentals in Public Speaking, and expects to graduate in December 2000 with a M.A. in Mass Communication. Previously, he taught Com 114, Fundamentals of Speech Communication; Com 255, Introduction to News Reporting and Writing; and Com 305, News Editing. He has been The Chronicle adviser since the fall of 1995 and a graduate assistant in the Student Leadership Development office, formerly Student Activities.

Dave spent 7 years working as a news editor, sports editor and special assignment reporter for Star Publications in Tinley Park, Ill., 3 years working as a public relation specialist for the Education Service Network, Morris and Joliet, Ill., and 2 years working as a news and sports reporter for the Gary Post Tribune.
