Biography
As Public Information Officer for the Lee County Emergency
Medical Services (LCEMS), Paul Filla is responsible for developing,
implementing and evaluating activities intended to ensure that
citizens of Lee County and Lee County EMS personnel are well
informed and well educated about Lee County EMS.
Filla arrives in the current position after serving as a Director of
Public Relations and Marketing for CompuSven Incorporated from March
2001 to December 2002 where he was responsible for establishing
relationships with media contacts, corporate partners, professional
analysts; developing and supporting community outreach
opportunities; and overseeing the entire CompuSven presence to
peers, competitors and customers.
From June 1999 to March 2001, Filla served as lead consultant for
DefenseLINK Program Management Office within the Office of the
Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs where he was
responsible for planning, coordinating, and documenting DefenseLINK
operations. Prior to this, Filla served as an internet consultant
for the Army National Guard Headquarters and a division of the
National Cancer Institute.
Filla graduated from Purdue University in May 1994 with a Bachelor's
degree in Communications emphasizing in Public Relations and an
accredited public relations professional with the Universal
Accreditation Board. Filla is married with one child.
