Biography

While working on her B.A. in Communications at Purdue University Calumet, Natalie founded and was named President of Simon Says Productions, Inc., a freelance video production company located in the Chicago area. During her involvement with Simon Says, Natalie worked in various capacities for CBS, CLTV, South Suburban College, St. Anthony’s Hospital and Kurtis Productions, Ltd. Natalie also produced in independent documentary on drug resistant bacteria. In addition, she co-produced a successful series of not-for-profit exercise videos geared towards patients with various stages of HIV and AIDS infection.

After graduation from Purdue University Calumet, Natalie was accepted to Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis, which she attended for two years before traveling the United Kingdom to study international law. While in England, Natalie studied international business transactions, Islamic law, space law, international human rights, maritime law and arbitration.

Upon returning to Indiana in 1999, Natalie received her law degree from Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis and became licensed to practice law in Indiana. Natalie works for a well-respected firm in the Indianapolis area, Parr Richey Obremskey & Morton, which has been in business for over 100 years. In her practice as an associate, Natalie is involved in telecommunication and utility law, state regulation, and state legislation.

Other Information

In her personal life, Natalie’s interests lie in showing and breeding Siamese cats. She is also a published poet, an avid reader and a volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
