Access Computers
There
are several locations you can find computers on Campus. If you
do not need to print, CTIS has provided students with several
clusters of computers located throughout campus, such as:
· In
the Student Union and Library Building (SULB) under the stairs
· Outside
the lounge of the Classroom Office (CLO) Building
· Outside
of Gyte 171
· In
the Gyte basement, Main Computer Lab, Anderson, and Porter lounges
· In
the student lounge at the Academic Learning Center
The computers in these areas contain the same
software as the Main Computer Lab.
The Main Computer Lab, located in Powers 115 provides
students with computers and the following hardware:
· Monochrome
laser printers
· Scanners
· CD
burners
· VHS
machines connected to computers for video editing
The Main Computer Lab also takes reservations for two
separate student project rooms, so students can work in groups and
have the use of an overhead LCD, whiteboard, and a dedicated
printer.
Computers in the Main Computer Lab accept the
following types of storage devices:
· 3.5”
high-density diskette
· 100mb
or 250mb Zip diskette
· USB (flash drive)
device
· CDR
