Blackboard Vista, or Vista as you may see it referred to, is Purdue University Calumet’s online course management system. It is a web-based application that allows you access to course materials via the Internet.

Along with distance learning classes, many instructors who hold class sessions on campus use Vista to give students access to lessons and to take advantage of features like the Discussion Boards for class activities.
Many instructors also use Vista to post assignments and/or quizzes and tests (called assessments). Vista contains a grade book in which instructors may choose to post individual grades to assist you in tracking you academic progress in the class.
