Student User Name Change
Effective August 7th, 2008 the usernames for all students has
changed over to Career Accounts. To read about the change and how it

    Main Computer Labs



    Who We Are

    The Main Computer labs, located in the main floor of the Powers building (Powers 115) and Gyte 42 to 46, is the unit of CTIS that provides the majority of the open computers available for student use.
    In today’s fast-paced school environment, students need a personal resource - an on campus place to use technology. The PUC Computer Labs are a place where consultants offer students reliable tips and tools to assist with in-class performance and assignments. We are not only a student’s technology companion, but we are also a trusted tool.

    Lab Schedule

    Fall and Spring Semesters

    Monday to Thursday7:30 am to 11 pm
    Friday7:30 am to 5 pm
    Saturday8am to 5 pm
    Sunday1 pm to 9 pm

    Winter and Spring Breaks

    Monday to Friday8 am to 5 pm

    Maymester and Summer Sessions

    Monday to Thursday8 am to 10 pm
    Friday and Saturday8 am to 5 pm
    Sunday1 pm to 6 pm
    Services Available

    The Main Computer Labs provide students with the following hardware:

    PC computers
    iMacs
    Monochrome laser printers
    Scanners
    DVD burners
    VHS machines connected to computers for video editing

    The Main Computer Lab also takes reservations for two separate student project rooms, so students can work in groups and have the use of an overhead LCD, whiteboard, and a dedicated printer.

    Computers in the Main Computer Lab accept the following types of storage devices:

    3.5” high-density diskette
    100mb or 250mb Zip diskette
    USB (flash drive) device
    CDR

    If you do not have a storage device with you, you can save your work to your personal H: drive.
    There is also wireless networking available throughout campus for those who prefer to use their personal laptops.

    Locations of Computer Clusters

    There are several locations you can find computers on Campus. If you do not need to print, CTIS has provided students with several clusters of computers located throughout campus. To learn where to find computers available for use outside of the main lab, please click here.
