    About CTIS

    CTIS Staff Directory

    Office 2007

Purdue University Calumet is making the move to Microsoft Office2007.
In the effort to provide the best for our faculty, staff, and students, we in CTIS will be upgrading the Microsoft Office on every Windows computer on campus.

Palm pilots will stop syncing after the Office 2007 installation. HotSync manager 6.1.0 will not work with Outlook 2007. Hotsync 7.0 will need to be downloaded and installed from the Palm web site.

The Office products still function the same as the previous versions, there are a some differences. The major changes you’ll notice right off in most of the Office products is the Office Button and the Ribbon which replaces the menu bars. This will take some getting used to
(as seen in this example). One of the best ways to find where items are located is by using the Office Help function.

The table below contains links to training documents and PowerPoint presentations that will help you make the adjustment from Office 2003 to 2007. These documents are available as downloads also by right-clicking and choosing the "Save As" option.
