Navigating the Purdue University Calumet system

The Office of the Dean of Students is here to help the student solve problems he or she is having in the system, and to answer questions regarding the policies, practices, and procedures of the University. If the staff does not know the answer to the question or problem, our promise to the student is that we will find the answer, or find where the student needs to go to get the answer to the question or get resolution for the problem.

Purpose Statement of the Office of the Dean of Students

  • Our work is to help the student answer questions and solve problems.
  • Our work is to connect the student to those persons, organizations, activities, etc. so the student can become a vital, vibrant and contributing member of the PUC community.
  • Our work is to refer the student to the proper party for the needed information so the student can more efficiently and successfully navigate this vast Purdue University Calumet system with swiftness and precision.
  • Our work is to assist the student in understanding the practices, policies and procedures of this (unintentional laborious and) complicated Purdue University Calumet system so the student can learn and study barrier-free.
