Quality Audit
Quality Audit System
Purpose Statement: The purpose of Administrative Services Quality Audit System is to
determine whether agreed upon quality requirements are being met. In addition, the system
should also determine the effectiveness of quality requirements in controlling the quality of
our products and services.
Description: The Administrative Services Quality Audit System is a series of sequential
steps performed by individuals independent of the area being audited. The steps involved
include preparing for the audit, performing the audit, preparing a report of the audit, and
taking correction action on the findings. The system assumes that the lead auditor has the
requisite CQA baseline knowledge and skills. The members of the audit team may consist
of subject matter experts from across the organization working under the guidance of the
lead auditor. The ASQ Code of Ethics, guidelines regarding professional conduct, and
liability issues as they relate to auditors are taken into consideration throughout all
processes in the audit system.
