| The above three courses cover the four semesters that are required by Cisco for the CCNA certification. |

After obtaining this certificate you will be able to:
- Understand, identify and apply network protocols, standards, and architectures.
- Identify and select the necessary hardware components needed to build computer networks.
- Install, manage, and troubleshoot a Local Area Network (LAN), both at the hardware and software level.
- Configure Local and Wide Area Networks using internetworking devices such as Cisco routers and switches.
- Apply subnetting in the design of computer networks.
- Have a working knowledge of TCP/IP, the protocol of the Internet.
- Apply the acquired knowledge to take the Cisco CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and the Network+ certification exams.
- Work as a network operator and/or administrator.
