Logging Into Blackboard Vista & Access My Course
This help sheet shows you how to log into Blackboard Vista. Once you are in Vista this help sheet will show you how to access the courses you are enrolled in. If you do not see your course or courses listed please send an e-mail to ecourses@calumet.purdue.edu
Checking My Grades
Once your instructor has posted grades, this help sheet will show you how to access them. You will need to click on your course and then click on My Grade.
Posting a Discussion
This help sheet shows you how to post a discussion question or responded to the discussion board.
Sending an E-mail
This helps sheet will show you how to send an E-mail in Vista using the Mail tool. E-mail in Vista is internal to the system and not connected to your Net Mail. There is an option under the My Settings to be able to notify you that you have mail in Blackboard Vista.
Submitting an Assignment
This help sheet will show you how to submit an assignment. If you are having trouble uploading a file you will need to check your Java. Please make sure to click on the link about Java.
Taking an Assessment
This help sheet will show you how to take an assessment in Vista. It is important to save after each question, in the event you get kicked out of your assessment, they questions you answered will already be saved. If you are kicked out of an assessment please contact your instructor.
Uploading a File
This help sheet will show you how to upload files in the File Manger. The File Manager is a place in Blackboard Vista where you can store your files for your course and have access to them from where ever you are at.
Setting Your Time Zone
You can now set the time zone in Blackboard Vista so that it will show you the correct time.
