Increase the Value of Your Investment in Energy
The Energy Efficiency and Reliability Center at Purdue University Calumet has been formed to provide technology and assistance to a variety of applications that use energy. We seek to help businesses obtain the maximum benefit from the energy they purchase or produce. Various types of assistance are available including research, new technology, energy survey assistance, environmental emissions reduction, and renewable energy sources optimized individually as well as in conjunction with Combined Heat and Power systems.
The primary objectives of the Energy Efficiency and Reliability Center are:
- Develop advances in energy efficiency, reliability, utilization, processes, and technologies that improve the value and effectiveness of energy use.
- Reduce energy costs and help enhance the economic and strategic viability of manufacturing as well as other industries and businesses while attracting new businesses and jobs.
- Enhance economic development efforts by improving energy utilization effectiveness and reducing energy related environmental emissions and costs.
A primary goal of the Energy Efficiency and Reliability Center is to provide technology and assistance to maximize the value and reliability of energy.
