Chinese New Year or Spring Festival is the most important traditional Chinese holiday. In order to propagandize our traditional Chinese festival and help Chinese students celebrate the New Year outside hometown, our Purdue University Calumet Chinese Student Association and local Chinese community have organized the Chinese New Year Celebration.    This year, more than 400 people enjoyed wonderful show and Banquet.
Many ETIE students contributed their own effort for this activity, such as dancing, singing, playing instruments, talking show, and decoration.
The university is very supportive to this event. Chancellor and his wife, vice chancellor and other administrative staff, and professors joined our celebration. We also had opportunities to get to know people from the local community.
