Huang Xin' Speech on 2009 ETIE graduate ceremony

Huang Xin

Nice to see you all here, ladies and gentlemen. I am Huang Xin.

Today, I feel so proud to take the honor to say something on behalf of the students from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

I believe that we've all realized that we've grown a lot during these 8 months.

Comparing with that we don't know what to eat in the first days we came here, most of us gain weight without control nowadays, especially girls; comparing with that we can hardly understand our professors and made blind-responds by saying OK,OK, we can discuss with them now; Comparing with that we can hardly give a fluent presentation before, we are presenting our accomplishment of senior design today in such a good manner; Comparing with that we got straight-As last semester here, we keep fighting to get another straight-As this semester, right?

All of our growths I mentioned above or missed are greatly due the ETIE program. I will take this opportunity to say thanks to those who made contributions to this program. And I appreciate the great help from our chancellor, Prof. Zhou, Ms Marsha Gordon, and all the faculties and staffs. We especially want to thank Pro. Zhou. She really helped us a lot, from study problems to daily life. We also like to thank Mr and Mrs Pierson for showing us the beautiful view of Chicago, and I love your gorgeous house. Thank you all.

I know that some of our friends will go to other colleges next semester, I'd like to say congratulations to you; I know that some of our friends will go back to China and will never be back with us, I'd like to say good luck, I will miss you guys; and I know that most of our friends will be here at Purdue Calumet in the following years, I'd like to say that keep going boys and girls, we will definitely see the bright future of ours!

Thank you very much!
