LAB ASSISTANT - YONGHENG ZHANG

As an ETIE student, I worked in the manufacturing and robotics laboratory (Anderson245) in 2007 spring semester. This turned out to be an excellent experience for me.
My job was to make individual programming and combine them together to used for an automatic manufacturing system. It is very challenging, but rewarding. I made a singing robot to grab a mallet and play "wrinkle, wrinkle, little star" on a toy xylophone. I also served as the lab assistant for ME486 (Introduction to Manufacturing Engineering).
My working experience not only helped me financially, but also in communication skills and hands-on experience. It was a great fun and provided me the opportunity to work as a Teaching Assistant during my current graduate studies.
