Smith is and
Elementary Education major. She earned Honorable Mention status in the
Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference last season and was the Lady
Peregrines’ second leading scorer averaging 10.6 points per game in 27
contests. She led the team in field goal, 3-point, and free throw shooting
percentages; .472, .387, and .802, respectively. Smith averaged 13.6 points per
game in CCAC action, 4th best overall, she hit .495 from the field in the
conference, 7th best, .761 from the charity stripe, 7th best, and .391 from the
3-point arc, 6th best. Smith was the team’s high scorer in 10 games this season
scoring double digits in each, which was best of the Lady Peregrines. Smith led
the Lady Peregrines in six consecutive games with double digit performances
during the CCAC season. In two seasons, Smith has compiled 564 points, 228
rebounds, 80 assists, 77 steals and nine shot blocks.
