Q: How much do meals outside the family cost?

A: Housing includes three meals a day. Any food purchased outside the the housing environment are generally no more expensive than in the US.

Q: How can I get Internet access?

A: Students can access the internet in Cyber cafes located throughout the city. Also, depending on the host families' amenities, students may be able to access the internet at home.

A: Host families will provide this facility.

Q: What other expenses should I plan for while in Spain?

A: For various forms of entertainment, excursions, souvenirs and parties, students should prepare to bring pocket money. How much, of course depends on your age and habits. Generally you should not bring more than you normally spend at home.

Q: How can I get or exchange money while I am in Spain?

A: The most convenient way to spend money is to use travelers checks or credit cards, which can be used in major banks. If you will be exchanging American currency, this can be done at the local banks or currency exchanges.
