Vice Chancellor Academic Honors Award Guidelines

1. The Honors student must have completed HONR 100 course with a grade of B or above.

2. The Honors student must maintain a 3.5/4.0 cumulative GPA.

3. The Honors student must complete Vice Chancellor Academic Honors Award application form. Priority will be given to students with highest cumulative GPA.

4. The Honors student must be enrolled in at least one Honors course and have a minimum of 12 credit hours during the Academic Year.

5. The Honors student will be awarded $1,000 to be used towards tuition, fees, housing, study abroad and/or books per academic year. The student' s account will be credited at the end of the academic year in which the scholarship was awarded.

6. Students can be awarded a maximum of four times up to $4,000 in total.

7. Applications should be turned into the Office of Honors Program no later than April 15 of each year.

8. This award will be effective August 28, 2006.
