Prospective Students:
We want outstanding students to have the opportunity to participate in the Honors Program at the beginning of their first semester at PUC. Admission to the PUC Honors Program is anticipated to be competitive. Your application will be reviewed very carefully and decisions will be based on overall assessment of the PUC Honors Program Application. We choose students whom we consider to be the most ready to tackle Honors courses immediately.
Factors taken into consideration include outstanding academic achievement, strength of academic program, ACT or SAT scores, demonstrated leadership, creativity, community involvement, essay, and letter(s) of recommendation. In order to apply for Honors Program, you should have a minimum high school GPA of 3.5/4.0, ACT composite score of 27 or higher, or a 1200 SAT (verbal + math) or higher.

Current Students:
Since there is limited admission to the Honors Program, there are students who we were unable to accommodate during their first year at PUC. The administration of the Honors Program also realizes people mature intellectually at different rates. For these reasons we offer an opportunity for you to apply to the Honors Program during your first two years at PUC. We then have the ability to look at what you have accomplished as a student at PUC.
Factors taken into consideration include outstanding academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, creativity, community involvement, essay, and letters of recommendation. In order to apply for the Honors Program as a current student you need a PUC cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0.
