Welcome to Hospitality & Tourism Management

The Hospitality and Tourism Management Program has several opportunities for students interested in the fields of study focusing on Hotels, Restaurants, Institutions, Travel and Tourism, Casinos, Private Clubs or Fitness Management. We offer a wide variety of classes taught by Professors and Guest Lecturers with significant experience in the hospitality, tourism or fitness industry. The Hospitality and Tourism Management program offers one year certificates and both two and four year degree plans. Majors in Hospitality and Tourism Management as well as Majors in Nutrition, Fitness and Health have certificates as well as associate and bachelor's opportunities available to them at Purdue University Calumet. Practicing Industry Professionals interested in credentials but not degrees can pursue our Certificate in Hospitality or the Certificate in Nutrition and Health Management.

The HTM program also offers minors in three areas (Foods and Nutrition; Hospitality Management; Recreational Sports Management) for students majoring in other areas of study. This can add to their degree flexibility and marketing themselves. For instance, a student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Spanish could minor in Hospitality Management.
