Biography
An Assistant Professor of Foods and Nutrition, Rita Fields joined the Purdue Calumet faculty in the Fall of 1992. She earned a Baccalaureate Degree in Dietetics and a Master of Science Degree in Human Nutrition from Purdue University. She completed a Dietetic Internship at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL and is a registered dietitian. Her area of teaching specialization is nutrition. Her research area is nutritional counseling in family practice.
