Biography

A Professor Emeritus of Foods and Nutrition, Professor Pluckebaum has been on faculty at Purdue Calumet since 1987. She has been associated with the Purdue Calumet program since 1984 as a visiting lecturer. She earned a Baccalaureate Degree in Home Economics Education from Purdue and Master of Science in Foods and Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin. She is a registered dietitian. Her areas of teaching specialization are foods and nutrition. Her research area is nutrition and the aged Hispanic. Professor Pluckebaum is a recipient of the Purdue Outstanding Teacher Award. She retired in May, 2003
