Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems
Lin Zhao joined the School of Management in Fall, 2007. She previously taught one
year in Computer and Information Science Department at Arkansas Tech University.
She has a B.E. in Systems Engineering and a M.Ec. in Quantitative Economics and
Management from Tianjin University, China. She awarded her Ph.D in Management Information
Systems from Case Western Reserve University in 2007.
Her present research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and business decision
making. In particular, she explores the issues of how animated visualization systems
represent multidimensional and dynamic accounting information to support more effective
decision making. She is also interested in the application of Neural Networks and
expert systems to time-series forecasting and data mining. Her teaching interests
include principles of information systems, system analysis & design, system development,
database management, business intelligence, and E-business.
