Professor of Information Systems
Professor Green earned her Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Valparaiso University
and her MBA from the University of Chicago specializing in MIS. She spent almost
20 years learning and applying the emerging discipline of Information Systems in
the business world working for IBM, Motorola, and numerous manufacturing and financial
organizations in Chicago and Northwest Indiana.
She joined the faculty of Purdue Calumet in 1984 and served as department head for
7 years leading changes in the curriculum for personal computers, networks, and
distance education. Her emphasis in scholarly activity ranges from the application
of the software development life cycle for business functions to the application
of computer technology for personal use.
