Experiential Learning Resources
Purdue University Calumet has always recognized the importance
of integrating work-experience with traditional classroom instruction.
Beginning in Fall 2008, undergraduates will need to complete two
experiential learning courses/equivalents as part of their graduation
requirements. To help support this initiative, the PUC Library maintains a selective group of resources of interest to the campus and the community.
Resources for faculty include bibliographies and research articles, books and other recommended sources. Find lots of information related to curriculum development, course integration and experiential learning theories.
Resources for students include books, articles and web sites that will help with service learning, design projects, research, internships, cultural immersion, practicum or cooperative education research.
Resources for community partners and employers is under construction. It will provide information about business and education partnerships and the benefits of hiring PUC students.
Resources for parents is under construction. It will provide useful links for parents to learn about experiential learning programs at Purdue University Calumet.
