Periodicals Prices:

RoweCom projection for periodicals price increases: 8 -10 %

PUC price-tracking database: 13.6 % for periodicals/contins

16.3 % for periodicals

S&E increase request submitted 3-15-02: $25,000 - 50,000

Outcome: State not awarding S & E increases

Requests will be handled locally

Will take action once the State allocation is known

Set aside $1 million to cover operating expenses in 2002

Probably will have to do the same in 2003

Budget on AA Town Hall meeting agenda for 3-26-02

State Library: Funding for Inspire is presently frozen

Student Technology Funds: Submission deadline is April 9

Projects: Continue current database subscriptions

OCLC Illiad interlibrary loan management product

Docutek electronic reserve product

Endeavor Voyager ENcompass for simultaneous searches

Endeavor Voyager Proxy Card for faculty delivery service
