Dolores F. Rinke, Ed.D., CPA

Professor of Accountancy
Dolores Rinke is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an IRS
Enrolled Agent with a Master of Business Administration
and a doctoral degree from Northern Illinois University. Her dissertation
investigated the accounting profession in the
European Union, a research interest she continues to pursue. Her other areas
of interest include international trade. She has presented her research at
international conferences in Egypt, Italy, Spain,
England, Turkey, and Eastern Europe. As a Fulbright scholar, she taught in Hungary,
and at Oxford and Cambridge Universities in England. Previous to Purdue,
she chaired the Business Administration Department
at Lewis University. Her previous background includes work with General
Motors Corporation, the University of Michigan,
Ex-Im Bank, and the World Trade Center in Chicago. She has vast experience in
consulting and tax practice and teaches Financial
and International Accounting at Purdue University Calumet.
