Preparing Business Leaders for Tomorrow's Challenges
In a rapidly changing and expanding global economy, today's business leaders face unprecedented challenges and opportunities. Purdue University Calumet's Master of Business Administration for Executives (MBAE) program is designed to supply the latest knowledge and tools available for corporate management and entrepreneurs.
School of Management proudly announces an new curriculum for the MBA for Executives (MBAE) program. The changes maintain Purdue’s traditional quantitative strength, while adding other important topics valued by organizations such as International Business, Ethics/Corporate Governance, Leadership, Supply Chain Management, Decision Analytics, Negotiations, and Risk Management.
Recognizing the need of many companies for qualified high-performing leaders, the MBAE program at Purdue University Calumet is also incorporating “Executive Coaching” sessions in our new curriculum. Through two hours of personal coaching, students will receive guidance to identify their leadership strengths and weakness and help creating a development plan for their professional development. Our coaching sessions are supported by Lore International Institute.
Here’s what our alumni are saying:
Cindy Leahy: WOW! I REALLY like what I see! In fact, I see a few things that I'd almost like to come back for!!! Is it possible to come back and take a specific course at a graduate level (more like for a special interest)?
Tim Ponds: I really like the new format. I am glad to see that Ethics/corporate governance, negotiation, and international business have been added.
Alan Heinz: I look at the proposed MBAE revision and am green with envy! I do believe that it is important to stay contemporary with various business needs.
Josh Cantwell: I have reviewed the curriculum and am very impressed by the structure of the program. Indeed major modifications have taken place. All for the good I might add. Future classes will benefit greatly from being able to touch on a variety of subjects past classes have not gotten. Thanks for the opportunity to review the new program.
Patty Grove: I believe this proposal incorporates positive change in the program. I was glad to see the quantitative pieces included, and even my interest was piqued with the Supply Chain Management module…(but not enough to do it again). I believe the change in scheduling demanding classes in different modules will benefit the students and the inclusion of mini-modules will allow for more content in the coursework.
