NEWS RELEASE:
Spring term enrollment increases to 8,962
There are 8,962 students enrolled at Purdue University Calumet during the current spring semester—nine more students than a year ago—according to data reported by the University’s Office of the Registrar.
The enrollment gain also is good news financially for Purdue Calumet, whose students are enrolled in courses that generated University record-setting billing hours of 90,141. That is a 1.6 percent increase over last year’s previous spring billing hour top mark of 88,747.
The average billing hour course load per undergraduate student this spring is 10.6; for graduate students, it is 5.5.
The current spring term enrollment total follows record-setting Purdue Calumet enrollment last fall of 9,607. The graduation of several hundred students each fall contributes to reduced spring enrollment.
