‘Workforce Development for a New Economy’ briefing is Friday (2/1)

“Workforce Development for a New Economy” is the focus of the next New Economy New Rules video seminar, broadcast at the Purdue Calumet Entrepreneurship Center (E-Center), Friday (2/1).

The live, one-hour interactive presentation begins at 7:30 a.m. The Purdue Calumet E-Center opens at 7 a.m. for registration and continental breakfast.

Speakers are:

  • Teresa Linn Voors, commissioner of the Indiana Department of Workforce Development;
  • Marc Drizin, human resources/customer satisfaction expert and founder of the professional development experience, Employee Hold ‘Em;
  • Dr. Stephen Hundley, associate professor of Leadership at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis

There is no fee to attend, but pre-registration is requested.

Sponsored by the Indiana technology group, Techpoint, and the Indianapolis law firm of Barnes & Thornburg LLP, the monthly seminar series seeks to introduce cutting edge thinking about how business can and should be conducted given new technologies and processes within legal and regulatory frameworks.
