Open house of Purdue Calumet’s Academic Learning Center is Thursday, March 27
Purdue University Calumet will host an open house of its south Lake County Academic Learning Center, Thursday, March 27, beginning at 5 p.m.
During the event -- “View PUC at the ALC” — Purdue Calumet faculty and staff will be present to discuss course offerings this summer and fall, experiential learning, how to start or resume a Purdue degree program, scholarships, financial aid and career development opportunities.
A tour of the facility and refreshments also will be provided.
Purdue Calumet’s Academic Learning Center offers Purdue Calumet credit classes, as well as several Indiana University Northwest offerings. The facility is intended to provide convenient access for individuals who live or work in Porter, Jasper, Newton and south Lake Counties and want to begin or resume a Purdue education.
On-site registration for classes offered this summer and fall at the Academic Learning Center will be held Thursday, April 10 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Academic Learning Center is located just east of Broadway Avenue, two miles south of Highway U.S. 30, adjacent to the Purdue Technology Center of Northwest Indiana.
