Manufacturing Industry Job Fair scheduled April 4

Some 35 employers are expected to be on hand at Purdue University Calumet’s third annual Manufacturing Industry Job Fair, Friday, April 4, from noon to 3 p.m. in the campus gymnasium.

The job fair is intended for engineers, operators and others qualified for jobs in the manufacturing industry, including Purdue Calumet students and alumni. Attendees should bring copies of their resume.

The fair also has space for additional employers desiring to be represented at the fair. To schedule space, employers should phone the university’s Office of Career Services at 219/989-2600 or 800/HI-PURDUE, ext. 2600.

In addition to the Office of Career Services, the fair is sponsored by local chapter 112 of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.

The Purdue Calumet gymnasium is located in the Fitness & Recreation Center at the south end of campus, one-third mile north of Interstate 80/94; three blocks east of Indianapolis Boulevard, south of the traffic light on 173rd Street east of Woodmar Avenue.
