Poetry lovers invited to read ‘My Favorite Poem’ Tuesday (4/8)

Poetry lovers are invited to come to Purdue University Calumet Tuesday (4/8) at 2 p.m. to read their favorite poem during the university’s celebration of Poetry Month.

Readings will take place for 90 minutes in Alumni Hall on the third floor of the Student Union & Library. Attendees are asked to share a selection from one of their favorite poets. Literary discussion will follow, and light refreshments will be served.

The event is sponsored jointly by the Department of English and Philosophy and the First Friday Wordsmiths student creative writing organization.
