Educational Talent Search hosts ‘Day on Campus for middle school students 5/9

Local middle school students will have an opportunity to learn more about college life and various careers available to those with a college education during Purdue University Calumet’s “Day on Campus,” Friday, May 9, hosted by the University’s Educational Talent Search program.

Activities are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., beginning in Alumni Hall of the Student Union & Library.

Purdue Calumet faculty and staff members will present informational sessions about academic programs at the university.

Students also will tour the campus tour. Concluding the visit will be an awards ceremony.

Lunch will be provided.

Educational Talent Search encourages and advances higher educational opportunities for disadvantaged middle school and high school students and adults.
