‘View Purdue Calumet’ visitation program is Oct. 11

High school students, recent high school graduates, parents and other adults are invited to explore educational opportunities at a Purdue University Calumet visitation program at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 11.

Admission is free to “View Purdue Calumet” at The Calumet Conference Center, located at the far south end of campus.

Enrollment and student services representatives, as well as faculty from Purdue Calumet’s 16 academic departments will be present to discuss:

• undergraduate and graduate degree programs offered in more than 100 areas of study;
• admission procedures;
• scholarships and other financial aid;
• student housing; and
• experiential learning and career development opportunities.

“The program is designed to show people what Purdue Calumet has to offer and help them feel comfortable in a university environment,” Purdue Calumet Associate Director of Admissions and Recruitment Dorothy Frink said.

Campus tours, including The University Village, Purdue Calumet’s student apartment facility, will be held, weather permitting.

Purdue Calumet’s Calumet Conference Center is located one-third mile north of Interstate 80/94, three blocks east of Indianapolis Boulevard, south of 173rd Street. Free parking is available by turning south at the traffic light on 173rd Street, one-half block east of Woodmar Avenue.
