You may be considered for conditional admission status if you do not meet one or more of the following requirements:
- a minimum undergraduate cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0, on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent "B" average
- evidence of current registered nurse licensure
- evidence of successful completion of an introductory statistics course taken within five years

To apply for admission to the Graduate Nursing Program as a degree seeking student, you must complete the Graduate School Application Form and submit the following items:
- two official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended;
- a statement of 300-350 words concerning your purpose for undertaking graduate study;
- three recommendations using the University's recommendation form evaluating your scholarly potential (at least
one from a former instructor); and
- a current resume or curriculum vita.
- A copy of your license.
- Criminal background check.
Post-Baccalaureate (Non-degree) students:
If you are a graduate of an accredited baccalaureate program in nursing
you may take selected courses as a post-baccalaureate (non-degree) student.
You may take up to 12 hours of graduate course work as a
post-baccalaureate student. These courses can be included in your plan of study leading to the master's degree if you meet the requirements for admission to the Graduate Nursing Program (see above) and acquire formal admission as a degree
seeking student.
Simply see an advisor, complete a brief application form and submit a
copy of your undergraduate transcript or diploma (required). You must
complete the application online at the Graduate
School Web site.
