Living Learning Communities
Living Learning Communities are programs organized to integrate academic,
social and recreational development through enriched activities planned by
faculty and staff. Activities will include faculty and students working together
in small groups, residential staff and peer mentors supplementing class
discussions during floor meetings and residential programs, and students
establishing academic and social networks both on and off campus.
As a participant in this program you will:
- be housed in close proximity to other scholars participating in the
Living Learning Community;
- be enrolled in a special section of Communication 114, a required
course, scheduled to be held in University Village this fall;
- be invited to attend a summer welcome program with other distinguished
students;
- be included in a reading circle at the Chancellor’s home to discuss a
book prior to the first day of class; and
- be asked to participate in an off-campus experiential learning activity.
