Research Collaboration Award
Awards are available to students to present results of their research efforts at PUC at professional conferences, symposium, shows and performances. Awards of up to $300 will be available to reimburse students for their travel expenses if they travel with their faculty mentor to give a presentation of their research. A specific venue and student abstract submission form must be submitted to the Student Research Office to gain approval for the travel funds. Evidence of participation, such as a copy of the seminar schedule, and receipts will be necessary for dispersal of the funds. Reimbursement funds can be used for registration fees, travel and lodging for the student. Fill out the sheet entitled Research Presentation to apply for this award.
Awards are available to students to conduct research projects with PUC faculty off campus. Awards of up to $1000 will be available to reimburse students for their travel expenses if they travel to work with their faculty mentor to conduct a research project off campus. Evidence of participation acceptance, such as a letter from the host research institute and student submission form must be submitted to the Student Research Office to gain approval for the travel funds. A summary report of the research results and receipts will be necessary for dispersal of the funds. It is encouraged that the student will give a presentation about the research the following semester at PUC. Reimbursement funds can be used for travel and lodging for the student.
