The Calumet Conference Center is located on the campus of Purdue University Calumet at 2300 173rd St. in Hammond, Indiana - just 20 miles southeast of downtown Chicago.

We are conveniently just north of I-80/94, between Indianapolis Blvd. and Kennedy Ave. More specific directions are detailed below:

Travel Directions

From the East:
  • Take I-80/94 West to the Kennedy Ave. North exit.
  • At first traffic light, 173rd St., turn left.
  • Go over railroad tracks to the Purdue Campus traffic light and turn left, into the 173rd St. South Entrance.
  • Follow the short road along to the conference center.
OR...
  • Take Indiana Toll Road I-90 West.
  • Exit Cline Ave. South.
  • Take Cline Ave. to I-80/94 West.
  • On I-80/94, travel approximately one mile and exit Kennedy Ave. North.
  • At first traffic light, 173rd St., turn left.
  • Go over railroad tracks to the Purdue Campus traffic light and turn left, into the 173rd St. South Entrance.
  • Follow the short road along to the conference center.
From I-65 South
  • Take I-65 North to I-80/94 West toward Chicago.
  • Travel approximately eight miles and exit Kennedy Ave. North.
  • At first traffic light, 173rd St., turn left.
  • Go over railroad tracks to the Purdue Campus traffic light and turn left, into the 173rd St. South Entrance.
  • Follow the short road along to the conference center.
From US 41 South
  • Take US 41 North to Hammond. (Along the way, US 41 turns into Indianapolis Blvd.)
  • At 173rd St. (Hammond), turn right (east).
  • At the first traffic light is the Purdue Calumet campus. Turn right, into the 173rd St. South Entrance..
  • Follow the short road along to the conference center.

From Chicago:
  • Take I-94 (Dan Ryan Expwy. which then becomes Bishop Ford Expwy.)) east into Indiana.
  • Exit Indianapolis Blvd. North.
  • At the second traffic light, 173rd St., turn right.
  • At the first traffic light is the Purdue Campus campus. Turn right, into the 173rd St. South Entrance..
  • Follow the short road along to the conference center.
OR...
  • Take I-94 (Dan Ryan Expwy.) East and exit onto the Chicago Skyway
    (I-90 East). (The Skyway leads into the Indiana Toll Road.).
  • From Indiana Toll Road, take Exit #3 -- Cline Ave. East.
  • Take Cline Ave. to I-80/94 West.
  • On I-80/94, travel approximately one mile and exit Kennedy Ave. North.
  • At first traffic light, 173rd St., turn left.
  • Go over railroad tracks to the Purdue Campus traffic light and turn left, into the 173rd St. South Entrance.
  • Follow the short road along to the conference center.
From the Chicago Suburbs:
  • Take I-294 East to I-80/94 into Indiana.
  • Exit Indianapolis Blvd. North.
  • At the second traffic light, 173rd St., turn right.

From Midway Airport:
  • Take Cicero Ave. South to I-294 East..
  • Take I-294 East to I-80/94 East into Indiana.
  • Exit Indianapolis Blvd. North.
  • At the second traffic light, 173rd St., turn right.
  • At the first traffic light is the Purdue Campus campus. Turn right, into the 173rd St. South Entrance.

From O'Hare International Airport:
  • Take I-294 East to I-80/94 East into Indiana.
