Women's Studies Faculty and Governance Structure
The Women's Studies Program at Purdue University Calumet (PUC)
is a freestanding unit in the School of Liberal Arts and Social
Sciences (LASS); it is not part of a department although some
Women's Studies courses are crosslisted with different university departments.
Faculty who teach Women's Studies courses do so on a voluntary basis, and
they are employed by other academic departments rather than the Women's Studies Program.
The Women's Studies Advisory Committee (WSAC) governs the Women's Studies Program.
Its members include PUC staff, faculty, student volunteers and community partners.
