  • Anne Frank Homepage - Website based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, provides background on Anne Frank and the house she and her family hid in during WWII. Site is available in English, Spanish,German, and Dutch.
  • African American Women in History - This resource site (sponsored by About.com) offers various articles on African American women in United States History. Some of topics featured on this site include slave narratives, Harlem Renaissance women, African American nurses in wartime, biographies of well-known (and lesser known) African American women in history, and more.
  • Civil War Women - Duke University Special Library resource site about women's participation in the Civil War. Includes diaries and documents from women involved in the war (either in the Duke Univ. Collection or other university library sites) and scanned photographs from the Library of Congress and the National Archives).
  • Votes for Women - Library of Congress collection of books, pamphlets, and photos focusing on the American women's suffrage movement.
  • Women of World History - Created in Lyn Reese, a historian from Berkley, California. Intended for K-12 classrooms, this site contains biographies, interactive lesson plans,essays, and external links to websites on women in history (U.S and international)
